Where To Find your Serial Tag Freezers Model# and Serial numbers are located on the Serial Plate. Chest Units are located on the outside of the unit. Uprights are located inside the unit on the left hand side. 1st character= R or W 2nd character = A or B Laundry The serial plates are located inside the door. 1st Character = X 2nd character = C / D / E or W Refrigeration The model and serial number are found on the serial plate. Top Mounts – serial plate can be found on left side inside the refrigerator section Side by side – serial plate is on the right side or top of refrigeration section Serial number is 10 characters 1st character is a B or L.  2nd character is an A Cooking Model and Serial Numbers are located on the Serial Plate. For all ranges, except some limited gas models, the tag is located on the front panel behind the bottom storage drawer.  On those gas models, you may find the tag under the burner top. 1st character= N or V 2nd character = F Dishwasher The serial plate is located on the inside of the door flange on the right side of the dishwasher tub. 1st character= T 2nd character = H
